REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Workforce Development
WORK YEAR: Current school year as needed for short-term training programs/scenarios
SALARY RANGE: $31 per hour with opportunity to advance; based on licensure and teaching experience
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to secure appropriate valid Ohio teaching license/certificate
- Minimum of 5 years documented related industry experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in an adult education environment
- Dependable and flexible to various work schedules
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workshop
- Documented evidence of a clear criminal record
PENTA CAREER CENTER HAS A NEED TO HIRE QUALIFIED ADULT EDUCATION INSTRUCTORS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
- Construction
- Remodeling
- Plumbing
- Painting
- Concrete Finishing
- Masonry
- Electrical (Residential & Commercial)
- Welding
- Robotics
- Precision Machining
- Nursing/medical technology
- Culinary Arts
- Computer technology
- Auto Technology
- HVAC
- Evening Program Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide students with skill building instruction and relevant practice within the trade/career area
- Teach students the key components of a safe work environment and provide an opportunity to secure relevant and meaningful industry credentials/certifications
- Ability to work some evenings during the academic year from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday OR as-needed for short term training situations
- Maintain complete and accurate records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation
- Actively assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulation and Board Policy
