STARTING DATE:      2023 – 2024 School Year, on an as-needed basis 

REPORTS TO:          Supervisor of Workforce Development

WORK YEAR:          Current school year as needed for short-term training programs/scenarios 

SALARY RANGE:     $31 per hour with opportunity to advance; based on licensure and teaching experience

 

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to secure appropriate valid Ohio teaching license/certificate
• Minimum of 5 years documented related industry experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in an adult education environment
• Dependable and flexible to various work schedules
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workshop
• Documented evidence of a clear criminal record

 

PENTA CAREER CENTER HAS A NEED TO HIRE QUALIFIED ADULT EDUCATION INSTRUCTORS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: 

• Construction
• Remodeling
• Plumbing
• Painting
• Concrete Finishing
• Masonry
• Electrical (Residential & Commercial)
• Welding
• Robotics
• Precision Machining
• Nursing/medical technology
• Culinary Arts
• Computer technology
• Auto Technology
• HVAC
• Evening Program Coordinator

  

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provide students with skill building instruction and relevant practice within the trade/career area
• Teach students the key components of a safe work environment and provide an opportunity to secure relevant and meaningful industry credentials/certifications
• Ability to work some evenings during the academic year from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday OR as-needed for short term training situations
• Maintain complete and accurate records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation
• Actively assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulation and Board Policy
